# How to Edit Download Limits in Bulk for Digital Products

Managing download limits individually can become time-consuming when you have many digital products.\
Big Digital Downloads allows you to **edit download limits in bulk**, making it easy to apply the same rules across multiple products at once.

This feature is especially useful for stores managing **large digital catalogs** with hundreds of products.

### What Are Download Limits?

Download limits allow you to control how customers access digital files after purchase by defining:

* **Download expiry** → How long the download link remains active
* **Maximum downloads** → How many times a file can be downloaded

Bulk editing lets you apply these settings to multiple products simultaneously.

***

### Why Use Bulk Editing?

Using bulk actions helps you:

* Save time when managing many digital products
* Apply consistent download rules across your catalog
* Quickly update limits during promotions or policy changes
* Avoid manual editing product by product

Ideal for stores selling templates, courses, assets, or large digital libraries.

### Best Practice 💡

If you sell many similar digital products, set standardized download limits using bulk editing first. This prevents inconsistent customer experiences and reduces future maintenance.
