How to Offer Multiple Versions of a Digital Product ?

This is a great solution if you have a digital product where you'd like to send a different file based on the option the customer selects (like language, file type, or size). Each option can also have its own pricing if needed. The key thing to understand is that if you want each variant to have its own unique file, you'll need to create separate variants to represent each version of the digital product, and assign a specific file to each one individually.

Steps to create a Digital Product with multiple each with its own unique file

1. Start by creating the Shopify product that people will purchase to receive your digital product.

2. In your Shopify admin, look at the left panel and click on Online Store.

3. Click On Products.

4. Click on Add product.

1. Scroll down to Variants and click "+ Add options like size or color."

2. Enter an option name, for example, 'Language"

3. Specify the option values and or price for each variant such as 'English,' 'German,' and so on.

1. Looking at the left tab of your Shopify admin dashboard, click on Apps.

2. Click on Big Digital Download.

3. Click on Digital Products.

4. Click on Create Digital Product.

1. Choose between creating your own digital product or using AI to create it

For this it is recommended to use our standard digital product option

1. Click on select a product and select the product you created.

1. When selecting the product only connect it to 1 variant, for our example we could have clicked "English".

1. Make sure that the file when creating that digital product matches the name of the Shopify variant you just selected.

1. Repeat this process for each digital product you have set up as a variant in Shopify.
