This is a Premium feature of Cowlendar. You need to upgrade your plan if you want to use this feature and you are a free user of Cowlendar.
You can set maximum number of people per timeslot for one service or across all your services at once. This is a feature to prevent timeslots/classes from getting double booked.
How to set a maximum number of people per timeslot on one specific service?
Imagine you've got a yoga class that can only fit 10 students at a time. You don't want to overpack and ruin the zen, right? Here's how you keep it under control:
Go to the service you want to manage.
Find the field labeled "booking limit per timeslot" and enter your desired max number (like "10" for your yoga class).
Just a heads-up, this control is a premium feature, so make sure you're on the Pro plan to use it.
How to set a maximum number of people per timeslot across all services at once?

Running a one-person show? We've got you covered! Here's what to do if you offer multiple services but can only handle one at a time:
Head to the main Settings in Cowlendar. (Application > Cowlendar > Settings)
Scroll down until you see "maximum booking per timeslot" and put in "1".
This ensures you don't double-book yourself and can give each client your undivided attention.
Q) What does this actually do? A) It prevents double bookings. If you do this to a specific service (this means Application > Cowlendar > My services > Edit service (or created one). Then this rule only applies to that service. This means that If you did this to Service A and someone books timeslot 1pm - 2pm then someone can still booking that same timeslot in Service B.
Q) Will setting a maximum number of people per timeslot affect existing bookings? A) No, setting a maximum will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed. It will only apply to new booking requests after the change is made.
Q) Can I have different maximum booking limits for different services? A) Yes, you can set individual booking limits per timeslot for each service by editing the settings of each service separately and not in Application > Cowlendar > Settings
Q) How do I change the maximum number of people for a timeslot if I need to adjust it later? A) You can go back to the service settings or the global settings at any time to adjust the maximum number of people per timeslot. Remember to save your changes.
Q) If I set a maximum booking per timeslot globally, can I still have a different limit for a specific service? A) No, global settings override individual service settings. Remember that global settings is in Application > Cowlendar > Settings and Individual service settings is in Application > Cowlendar > My services > Edit service
Q) What happens if a customer tries to book a timeslot that has reached its maximum booking limit? A) The customer will not be able to book that specific timeslot. They will either have to choose a different time or, if available, a different service.
Q) Can I override the maximum booking limit for a special case or customer? A) No this is not possible.
Q) Does setting a maximum number of people per timeslot also limit the number of services I can offer in that slot? A) If you set a maximum number in "Use daily bookings limit" found inside the global settings, it limits the total number of bookings you can accept that day, regardless of the service.
Q) Can customers join a waitlist if a timeslot is fully booked? A) This feature is not yet available.
