🫂How to create and assign teammates in Cowlendar

This is a Premium feature of Cowlendar. You need to upgrade your plan if you want to use this feature and you are a free user of Cowlendar.
Whether you are someone with a 2 person team or even 100 people team Cowlendar is here to help your business stay organized!
Each service that will have teammates attached needs to have "availability per teammate" enabled in the services settings.
Teammates will have it's own limit.
This means that If you have teammates John, Bill, Mary attached to a service then each of them will have there own limit.
So if someone bookings John for 1pm on January 10th then Mary and Bill will still be available to be booked then.
Teammates can have multiple services attached and the teammates limit will be shared between them.
This means that if teammate John has Service A and Service B attached then when someone books John for Service A at 1pm January 1 then John will have -1 slot in Service B.
Steps to create a teammate and attach it to a service:
In your Shopify admin dashboard look at the left hand panel and click on Apps.
Click on Cowlendar.
Click click on My Service.
Click Edit on the service you want to attach to a teammate.
Click on the Availability tab.
Set the service to Availability per teammate.
Looking at the left side of your Shopify admin dashboard click on Team.
Click on Add a teammate.
Fill out the teammate information.
To enable Team portal access for that teammate make sure to toggle on the two options related to team portal. This is part of the Ultra plan
Click on Create.
Click Edit Availability on the teammate you just created.
Scroll down and click Add new availabilities.
Click on Select Services.
Select the service you enabled availability per teammate on.
Adjust the availability to match this teammates schedule.
The availability for the service attached will be based on this! It will no longer use the availability inside of the services settings. This means that each teammate will have a specific availability when selected in the service
Click update.
Now if you go to the product page of your service and open the calendar you will see the availiability is based strictly on that teammate.
But why is there no teammate selector?
Great question! The reason for this is usually one of two things:
There is only one teammate attached to that service which means there is no need for teammate selection.
Teammate selector is disabled in Apps > Cowlendar > Settings > General Settings like the screenshot below.
